It was my absolute pleasure to chair the reunion planning committee for our 30th reunion. I had such a great crew: Ginger Bonito, Valerie Brown Yates, Brian Foster, Dave Keys, Ted Kraynick, Mike Kunis, Evelyn Morhardt Godar Even Julie Lauck Boggini and Elaine Sawyer Durand weighed in at a few meetings, even though they couldn’t make it to the event. Eric Farnsworth and Glen Kisela piped in, too. And Robert Costa participated via email to make our musical journey complete on the night of the party. Our planning meetings were so fun, I’m in serious withdrawal. With all that said, I’m “retiring” as reunion chair. I have bundled up everything from the 25th and 30th reunions, and miscellany from previous reunions, and delivered the boxes to Branham High School for safekeeping. In the folder from this year’s party is my pass-down memo of what worked and what didn’t, what ideas people had for future reunions, and some other tips. Tom Dorst, who maintains the Branham Alumni website, will keep our roster up to date in the meantime. And when 2011 or 2016 rolls around, I hope one of you will be lucky enough to assume the throne of chairmanship.
